Terms & Conditions

General


1. Puremagic Events and Hiring rents the equipment described on the client’s booking/contract, which is subject to these terms and conditions.

2. The rented equipment remains the property of Puremagic Events and Hiring
2.1. The client will be held liable for any equipment lost or damaged, during the stipulated rental period, at a replacement price determined by Puremagic Events and Hiring.

3. The rental period is stated on the quotation/booking/ contract/ invoice.


Booking and Payment


4. To secure a booking, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit
4.1. The payment of the balance should be made 7 days before delivery, at the latest.
4.2. Proof of payment, copy of ID, and proof of address must be sent via the bank or via email at terencelakay@gmail.com watts app 0817407075 to ensure your booking is confirmed
4.3.Payment MUST be reflected in our bank account for your booking to be confirmed. Order is only allowed to be delivered or collected from our premises with FULL PAYMENT reflected in our bank account. Proof of payment from the bank is NOT ACCEPTED!
4.4. Order will only be processed with payment reflected in our bank account.
4.5. Items will not be delivered nor allowed to be picked up by the client if the outstanding balance is not settled.
Refundable deposit/shortage/damaged items.

5. A refundable security deposit may be required to ensure coverage of any shortages or damages, should they occur.

6. A refundable security deposit will be paid once all items have been checked and declared
6.1. Any shortages or damages will be deducted from the refundable security deposit, at the replacement price.


Delivery and Collection

7. The client must collect and return the goods on the stipulated dates stated on the invoice
7.1. Puremagic Events and Hiring will deliver and collect at a fee, depending on the area and floor.
7.2. Puremagic Events and Hiring cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred when clients use their own transportation or a courier company.
7.3 Orders are to be collected at 8 Duff Street Parowvalley

8. Puremagic Events and Hiring will not be held liable if its staff or its items accidentally cause any damage to a venue, home or any place where they are delivering and collecting items.
Event Setup/Breakdown

9. If Puremagic Events and Hiring is setting up a function for the client, the client must ensure that they are present to sign the setup satisfactory form, if he or she cannot be present, the client must assign a designated person to sign on behalf of him or her.

10. In the event that the client is not present or has not assigned a designated person to be present to sign the satisfactory form, Puremagic Events and Hiring will not be liable for any discrepancies after Puremagic Events and Hiring’s team has completed the setup and left the venue. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that he/ she or the designated person is present at the venue to ensure that Puremagic Events and Hiring provides exactly what the client requires as per her/his booking form. 

10.1. Any additional setup services not specified on the booking form will be charged accordingly

10.2.Grand Style Hiring will not be held liable if its staff or its items accidentally cause any damage to a venue, home or any place where they are setting up or breaking down.


Draping 

11. Draping costs exclude fairy lights unless stipulated

Care of Goods

12. Dishes, cutlery and glassware must be washed and placed in the containers provided.
12.1. Failure to comply with 14, the client will be charged a washing fee determined by Puremagic Events and Hiring

13. Linen should be dry and placed in plastic bags. Clients are not to wash the linen.
13.1. Linen that returns with non-removable stains, mould, torn or burned, the client will be charged the full replacement cost.
13.2. When hiring any of our table linen, a mirror must be used under all décor that makes use of candles, to avoid wax from falling on our items



Cancellation/Alterations of items or full booking

14. Cancellation of an item: 50% of the total amount of the item is non-refundable after an order is confirmed.
14.1. Cancellation of the entire booking: 50% of the total amount of the booking is non-refundable on cancellation.
14.2. If the client only paid 50% of the order, the client will lose the full 50% deposit if he or she decides to cancel the full order
14.3. No refunds will be given to the client for items that were hired from Puremagic Events and Hiring and not used during the time specified on the booking form


COVID-19

15. If a client is not allowed to have their function due to lockdown restrictions, Puremagic Events and Hiring will be entitled to hold their deposit as a credit for their new function date or future orders.
15.1. If the client would like to reduce their guest numbers due to lockdown restrictions, Puremagic Events and Hiring will allow this, the client will then only be liable to pay the balance of the total order after reducing their quantities, if however, the client has already paid their full order and then wants to deduct items due to covid-19 restrictions the balance owing to the client will be held as a credit by Puremagic Events and Hiring for future orders.


OUTSOURCED ITEMS

16. Puremagic Events and Hiring will not be held liable for any outsourced items.
16.1. In the event that a client is unhappy with an outsourced item, Puremagic Events and Hiring will not be held responsible for refunding or replacing the item/s. 


INFORMATION

17. These terms and conditions are compulsory and accepted by the client upon payment of the booking deposit.
